The workshop will be led by Maria Schamis Turner, artist and author of The Life and Design of Frédéric Le ShoeShoe.
Collage is the perfect medium for playful exploration. It allows you to pair figurative and abstract elements to create a visual world that can be used to stimulate your imagination.
In this 90-minute workshop you will create and develop a fictional character — be it animal, human, or fantastical — using collage to brainstorm and try out ideas. No experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.
